Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PocketFin website, mobile application and related services ("PocketFin"), provided by Mirjalol Akramov ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing or using PocketFin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PocketFin.

1. The service

PocketFin is an online learning platform focused on personal finance, investing and budgeting. We provide interactive lessons, quizzes, calculators, progress tracking, an AI tutor, leaderboards and related community features. Some features require a free or paid subscription plan.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use PocketFin. If you are using PocketFin on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse PocketFin. Specifically, you must not:

• use PocketFin for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, abusive, hateful or discriminatory purpose;
• send spam, malware, viruses or other harmful code;
• infringe intellectual property rights or distribute unauthorised content;
• probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems, or bypass security measures;
• scrape, data-mine or systematically extract content except as permitted by us;
• interfere with other users' access or enjoyment of the service;
• misrepresent your identity, manipulate leaderboards, achievements or rewards, or exploit bugs.

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and restrict access for any breach of these rules or for conduct that creates security, legal or reputational risk.

4. Intellectual property

All content, software, branding, designs and materials in PocketFin are owned by or licensed to Mirjalol Akramov and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PocketFin for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from PocketFin without our prior written consent.

Content you submit to PocketFin (such as profile information, messages, feedback and public posts) remains yours, but you grant us a licence to use, display, store and process it solely to provide and improve the service.

5. Subscriptions, payments and billing

PocketFin offers Free, Premium and Max subscription plans. Paid plans are billed by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders, which means Paddle handles payment processing, billing, tax, invoicing, refunds and customer service inquiries for purchases.

By subscribing, you agree that your subscription will automatically renew on a monthly basis unless you cancel before the renewal date. Prices are shown in your local currency where available and include applicable taxes. You authorise Paddle to charge your chosen payment method for each renewal period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

6. Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time through the billing management portal linked in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and you will retain access until then. After cancellation, your subscription will downgrade to the Free plan.

We may suspend or terminate your access to PocketFin if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due (where permitted), or if we reasonably believe your account poses a security, fraud or legal risk. We may also terminate our service with reasonable notice.

7. Service level and disclaimers

We aim to keep PocketFin available and functioning smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure access. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mirjalol Akramov will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use PocketFin. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to PocketFin will be limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event, or USD 100 if you did not make a paid purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mirjalol Akramov from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of PocketFin, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of PocketFin will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uzbekistan, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of PocketFin after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
